The Basic Cardiac Life Support + Automated External Defibrillator (BCLS+AED) Course is designed to teach the skills and knowledge of basic cardiac life support, including the use of the automated external defibrillator, according to Singapore Resuscitation and First Aid Council (SRFAC) guidelines.
a) Understand the first responder’s role in the Chain of Survival.
b) Perform good quality and effective Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) on adult and infant cardiac arrest victims.
c) Use the Automated External Defibrillator effectively and safely on cardiac arrest victims.
d) Remove a Foreign Body Airway Obstruction from conscious and unconscious adult and infant choking victims

Participants must meet minimum of 75% attendance in order to qualify for the assessments.
Upon successful completion of the course and its assessments, participants will be issued with a certificate endorsed by Lentor Ambulance Pte Ltd.
We have stopped issuing physical certificates effective from 1st March 2020. This is to reduce waste in the long term, reduces need for replacement certificates and allows for more effective tracking of certificate validity.
